Hi, I'm Kenzie!
I am the founder and owner of Connected K-9. I have been owning and training dogs for as long as I can remember. From training trick dogs as a child, binged watching Animal Planet after school, to now working with sport, protection, and service dogs, and owning my own business. I can confidently say that dogs are not only my passion; they're my entire life! In my free time, I dedicate a majority of my time continuing my education and competing for dog sports like Schutzhund, dock diving, nose work, and much more.

Kyoto is my demo dog, service dog, sport dog, and most importantly my best friend and heart dog. Kyoto is a 3 year old working line German Shepherd Dog who you can expect to see a lot of. His stable temperament makes him the perfect demo dog when assisting with reactive or otherwise troubled canines. Kyoto is also a working medical alert dog, and actively training in the German dog sport of Schutzhund. He has many titles including trick titles, all of his AKC Canine Good Citizen titles, his BH (temperament test) title, Fast CAT BCAT, CA (Coursing Ability), and just recently earned his IGP1 title.
Hi, I'm Courtney!
I'm Kenzie's best friend and training partner! I was born and raised in a small town in the beautiful state of Wisconsin. I've been working with dogs and horses for 5 years. I'd like to say I can teach dogs, but the truth is they're the ones doing the teaching. I work with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperament issues. I describe myself as a working dog enthusiast, however my passion is training all types of dogs. I train service dogs, therapy dogs, sport dogs, household pets. I can't wait to hear from you and your pup.

Jade is my 3 year old working line German Shepherd Dog that I adopted in March of 2019. I completely transformed her training since she came to me for rehabilitation with zero food drive and no motivation towards anything. Jade is AKC-titled, including in dog diving, trick dog, and her Canine Good Citizens. She's my right hand lady and demo dog. Be prepared to see more of Jade in person during our lessons!
Hi , I'm James!
Dogs have been one of my passions since I was kid, dogs 101 was my favorite show growing up. I got my
first dog of my own when I was a kid and she taught me so much about patience, dog behavior and
learning process. I trained her to be a certified Therapy dog, she also did weight pulling, bikejoring and
some other sports as well. Since then I have owned and trained many dogs of all different breeds and
lifestyles. I currently train and compete with my German shepherd in the protection sport Schutzhund.
She recently competed for her first title. Training working dogs has taught me so much about how to
properly motivate and encourage dogs to be themselves and enjoy training with a positive attitude. I
love seeing a dog transform through training and learn how to interact with the world around them. I
look forward to working with you and your dog!
